GRAMMAR
PAST PERFECT
We can use the past perfect to show that one event in the past took place before another past event.
The past perfect signals earlier event. the simple past signals the later event.
For Example:
When we arrived, the party had already started.
She was late to the airport because she had forgotten to set her alarm clock.
When we use the past perfect the form is:
I/ YOU/ HE/ SHE/ IT/ WE/ YOU/ THEY .............. HAD............. PAST PARTICIPLE.
I/ YOU/ HE/ SHE/ IT/ WE/ YOU/ THEY............... HAD (TRAVEL)....... TRAVELED.
I/ YOU/ HE/ SHE/ IT/ WE/ YOU/ THEY............. HAD NOT.................. TRAVELED.
I/ YOU/ HE/ SHE/ IT/ WE/ YOU/ THEY............. HADN 'T.................... TRAVELED.
I like this blog, because it is so interesting. Classes are therefore understandable and easy to grasp. The examples are very clear and makes something fun to learn English
