RELATIVE CLAUSES

GRAMMAR

We can use RELATIVE CLAUSES to identify, define, or classify a person or thing. The relative clauses fallows a noun.
In relative clauses we should use:

Who:  When we talk about people.
For example: He has a lot of friends who is very generous.

Which: When we talk about things.
For example:  My brother bought a smartphone which is very luxurious.

That: When we talk about things and people.
For example:  I work with people that are responsible.

Whose: When we talk in possessive forms.
For example: My students whose homework is never done. will fail the exam.


The RELATIVES CLAUSES are important because we can specify the circumstances of persons, animals or things

VOCABULARY

ADJECTIVES:


Adjectives are words we use to describe more specifically the noun, the adjective is the word that accompanies the noun to determine or qualify; expresses characteristics or properties of the noun.
 In English there are eight kinds of adjectives:

1. Qualifying

2. Demonstrative 
3. Distributive 
4. Amount
5. Interrogative 
6. Possessive 
7. Own 
8. Paragraphs. 

SOME EXAMPLE OF ADJECTIVES:  

My room is always clean. 
Lewis is reserved in the party.  
Carlos is talkative with his friends.    

IMPORTANCE:  
The adejetivos are very important in our language because these serve to describe or qualify the noun. in the unit we learned to describe our best friends.We express because they are our best friends.
